It was the year 2018 when local jewelry brand Tala by Kyla made its first appearance online and offered its student-friendly pieces to the public. It sold gold-plated necklaces, bracelets, rings, and the like for a very affordable price.
But apart from the price point, how the brand captures the likes and interests of its customers is also very commendable. This could be the culprit as to why even after five years of doing business, its new releases are still a hit.
Owned by 22-year-old Kyla Cañete, Tala by Kyla is how Kyla expresses herself to everyone else. She's a kikay girl who loves to dress up and put on dainty jewelry pieces.
In an interview with Pera Paraan, she shared, “I think my mom had a big influence on me kasi growing up ang una niyang sinell ay mga accessories, mga beaded accessories ganyan. Binilhan niya ako ng isang buong rolyo ng rubber and then charms.”
